May Pack Meeting (5/22/08):

The Theme for the May Pack meeting is "Leaf it to Cubs".  Den ? will be doing the opening and closing ceremonies.  Cubs will be getting their books, neckerchiefs, and slides for next year.  This is the last pack meeting for the 2007/2008 year.  It is hoped to give all the boys their rockets for the July rocket launch.

 

Scout Sunday (5/4/08, 6/1/08, 9/7/08):

Upcoming Scout Sundays for St. Joseph's Church are May 4th, June 1st, and Sept. 7th at the 9:30 mass.  The boys should wear their uniforms to church on these days.

 

New Paltz Clean Sweep (4/26/08):

New Paltz Clean Sweep is on Saturday April 26th.  Cubs wishing to participate should show up at 8:30 am at St. Joseph's Church Hall.  The activity ends around noon.

 

Scout Show (Saturday 5/3/08):

The scout show is Saturday,  May 3rd from 10:00-4:00 at the Ulster County Fairgrounds.  The theme this year is "A Family Adventure". 

 

Memorial Day Parade (5/30/08):

New Paltz Memorial Day Parade is on Friday May 30th at 6:00pm.  Boys that would like to march in the parade should arrive around 5:30 in their uniforms.

 

Fishing Derby:

The details of the derby are not yet worked out but it is hoped to have this on June 8th, which would be the Saturday before Fathers Day.

 

Renegades Baseball Game:

Brett Macaluso is coordinating this event.  Scout night is Saturday June 21st at 7:00pm.

 

Popcorn Sales:

We still need to sell popcorn.  Mitch is organizing a sale for April 19th in front of Stop and Shop.  Also Father Moe agreed to let us sell after church one weekend and suggested April 27th as the soonest weekend.
